Andres Lopez

Andrés López was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1978. He studied fine arts in La Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and then travelled to Florence- Italy where he studied painting and sculpture in the Atelier of Charles Cecil. Andrés then entered the etching and graphics school I’l Bisonte also located in Florence. His works made with bamboo and Chinese ink on paper; vary from mythological themes to actual political issues. He has participated in art shows in Colombia, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Usa and Colombia where he lives and works actually. His works are in private collections in Italy, Usa and the Czech Republic
