Visual artist and architect from the Habitat Faculty of the San Luis Potosí University in Mexico. He has worked extensively in printmaking, painting, installation and constructing techniques that he uses in his work and has furthermore developed in visual art, as well as a scenery designer. He has exhibited more than 40 times since 1991, in galleries, cultural centers and museums from Mexico, USA, Belize, Ecuador, Puerto Rico and Spain.
Since 2004, Castaneda has worked as a producer, developer and adviser of artistic projects (performing arts & visual) as a curator of art exhibitions in Art Vision Gallery in Miami in 2008; and as an Architect designing the layout of Pinta Art Fair 2008 in New York City. Recently works as a Set Designer and Co-Producer of the project “Inheritance” by Dany Lima, a large format theater spectacle developed by Omellokan Productions.
